I am a bilingual-speaking, Croatian-American, marriage and family therapist and I work with individuals, couples, youths, adults, and families of all ethnic backgrounds, religions, and sexual orientations.
I believe that mental health wellness matters in obtaining a higher quality of life. The daily stresses and emotions we experience can significantly influence our well-being and hinder personal growth. By using the mindful approach, we can effectively process the emotions and traumas that may manifest as physical discomfort, anxiety, depression, flashbacks, or triggers. Through this process, we can focus on enhancing intimacy, respect, and affection within relationships.
In my therapeutic approach, I integrate evidence-based techniques and interventions to empower my clients with tools for enhancing self-awareness, building healthy coping mechanisms, and improving communication and connections with loved ones. I view therapy as a collaboration process, where we work together to establish goals and strive towards positive changes.
Being a solution-focused and trauma-informed therapist, my approach is grounded in a commitment to assisting individuals, couples, and families in their pursuit of self-exploration, growth, and a more profound connection with one another.
